Mini Biography

Deepika Padukone was born in Copenhagen (Denmark) by the famous Indian Badminton player Prakash Padukone and Ujjal Padukone. She is a graduate of Sophia High School, Bangalore and completed her undergraduate program of Mount Caramel School. Dipika Padukone was a state level badminton player, but he had his game at the national level as he had set his eyes on the glamorous world of entertainment. Deepika is a proud member of dance club run by his father. She has appeared in ads for Liril soap, Dabur Lal powder, plus shampoo and Limca. Deepika Padukone has received numerous offers, including modeling prestigious post of ambassador of jewelry brand in India, an annual festival of jewelry. Deepika Padukone on the international scene with her first modeling campaign with Maybelline, one of the top brands of cosmetics.

Deepika also one of the models involved in the Kingfisher swimsuit calendar for 2006. Dipika is a music video 'You Tera Naam' pop vocal album AAP Ka Suroor, an independent album by singer Himesh Reshammiya. Deepika Padukone made her debut with the Kannada film "Aishwarya". He has won appreciation for his performance in his film debut. Bollywood Deepika made her debut "Om Shanti Om 'opposite Shahrukh Khan.
